I’m Leon Layton, a former radio broadcaster who is now the voice behind The Cryptid Files.

I’ve explored the shadows for years, digging through forgotten files, first-hand reports, and legends most are too afraid to believe.

The Cryptid Files is more than a podcast. It’s a vault. A growing record of what lurks just beyond the treeline, creatures, whispers, and sightings that refuse to be silenced.

I created this show not to sensationalise but to document and to give space to real people and encounters with the unknown.
